About Sushi
Why do the Japanese people enjoy good health far into old age? Experts agree that their traditional diet may be a key factor. And sushi is the most famous part of that diet. Sushi is the latest trend in healthy foods for busy Americans.

It's delicious:
Sushi is light, delicate, and low in calories, cholesterol, fat and sodium. It's balanced in nutrition and tastes delicious. Sushi is usually made with soft rice delicately flavored with sweet rice vinegar, sesame seeds, fresh vegetables and cooked or fresh raw seafood. They are either wrapped in rolls with roasted sheets of seaweed or made into "nigiri"— a slice of seafood placed on top of a hand-shaped rice ball.

It's healthy:
Not all sushi is made with raw fish. In fact, the majority of our sushi products are made with cooked seafood or fresh vegetable— for example, our California rolls, Surf in California, and Vegetarian Combo. In fact, only salmon and tuna in our product line are served raw. But rest assured, they're fresh and definitely of sushi-grade quality.

It's easy:
Sushi is traditionally eaten with a mixture of wasabi (green horseradish paste) and soy sauce. A bit of ginger is also eaten to cleanse the palate between individual sushi.
